Backcountry Yoga is an outdoor adventure company that combines hiking, yoga, and an appreciation for the natural world. We offer unique outdoor experiences for everyone of all fitness levels including but not limited to: overnight camping adventures, ski retreats, day hikes, and nature walks.
We currently offer outdoor adventures in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont!

Laura created Backcountry Yoga as a passion project to help offer new and exciting ways to connect with other yogi's in the great outdoors. Laura is an alumni of the National Outdoor Leadership School and is a trained wilderness First Aid. Laura is certified in vinyasa & teen yoga. In addition to yoga adventures, Laura teaches at several studios around the Boston area. Follow her class schedule Here.
As an avid hiker, snowboarder, and sea kayakers, Joel has added yoga to his list of ways to explore the outdoors. Joel is well versed in backcountry travel, and has become known as our very own weather man. When Joel's not leading yoga hikes in the White Mountains, he's playing hockey, long boarding, and influencing the energy efficiency movement with his full time job.
