We train for marathons, ironmans, triathlons and even bikini season... so why not for winter? If you love winter sports do your body a favor and whip it into shape with our 6 week yoga training series.
Mobility and strength training are staples for any athlete, but when we put ourselves in the way of cold weather it becomes even more important. By nature, our muscles want to be warm, and we become injury prone the colder they are.
The most common injuries we see from winter sports usually stem from the knees, shoulders, and hands. Yoga can help prevent injury by increasing the strength and mobility of the stability muscles that protect these parts of your body.
In our 6 week program we'll introduce you to dynamic warm-ups and mindful cool-downs you can bring into to your life before and after stepping into the snow.
